That win came around a time when Colorado and Deion Sanders were headlining college football. It’s also the first time a younger Sanders teased his own song, playing a clip of the song in a TikTok video in September 2023.
Shedeur Sanders appears to have had as successful a performing career as his father and also joins him as a singing artist. Deion Sanders had a brief music career in the mid-1990s, releasing the album “Prime Time” in 1994. At the time, he was coming off a Super Bowl winning season with the San Francisco 49ers. He performed his song on “Saturday Night Live” in 1995, but his music career hasn’t been much since then as he continues to play as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL.
Despite the song’s title, Sanders’ first single release may not have perfect timing. The quarterback and the program have come under scrutiny in recent weeks following a report from The Athletic detailing how Coach Sanders cut players at Colorado ahead of the program’s inaugural season.
