I am helping my stepfather (remotely) to set up his new M3 MacBook Air, but we are stalled at the time of his new Bell Canada Wi -Fi.
We have the correct SSID and password in his existing system, but if you look at the list of networks of Setup Assistant, it is displayed as unlocked WiFi and fails when you try to connect.
If you want to manually enter SSID and enter a password, you can see that the “other…” option is “the network name or password is wrong.”
Is anyone in insight?
Is there a way to fully bypass the setting assistant’s network settings? You can skip the Wi -Fi settings, but you want DHCP or manually IP settings.
