Novak Djokovic left it all out there.
The Serbian tennis star took to social media to show off her injured left hamstring as she quit playing one set in her semi-final at the Australian Open. He said at a press conference that he had torn a muscle, but drew criticism from fans in Soecial Media who questioned how serious the injury was.
Djokovic posted a photo of the MRI he took on X on Saturday.
“Thought I’d leave this here for all the sports injury ‘experts,’” he wrote.

The veteran tennis star did not provide additional information, such as the exact diagnosis he received or his recovery timeline.
Djokovic, 37, dropped out of his match against Alexander Zverev after dropping the opening set in a tiebreaker on Friday. After shaking hands with Zverev and the chair referee, Djokovic gathered his equipment and began walking to the locker room.
Some of the crowd at Rod Laver Arena dominated him. Djokovic gave two thumbs up before leaving.

In an on-court interview, Zverev kicked out those who had bent on Djokovic.
“I know that everyone has paid for their tickets and everyone wants to hope for a five-set match,” Zverev said. “But you have to understand – Novak Djokovic is the man who has given this sport the last 20 years.”
Djokovic was hurt late in his first match, a four-set win over Carlos Al Caraz in the quarterfinals on Tuesday night.
Djokovic completed a matching tape on his upper left leg and did a similar wrap on his start with Zverev.

“I basically did everything possible to manage the muscle tear that I had,” Djokovic said at a press conference on Friday.
“Towards the end of the first set, I started feeling more and more pain,” he said. “It was too much for me to handle now. It’s an unfortunate ending, but I tried.”
