HOUSTON – Houston Dinamo FC today announced the club’s theme nights for the 2025 season as Dinamo prepares to celebrate its 20th MLS season at Shell Energy Stadium.
The Dynamo kick off the 2025 MLS season with two outstanding home games when they host Texas Derby vs. FC Dallas on February 22nd and Inter Miami CF on March 2nd. Tickets to all Dynamo home games can be purchased here.
Dynamo fans look forward to celebrating the following special nights at Shell Energy Stadium this season:
Home Opener Presented by Shell Energy – February 22 vs. FC Dallas
Houston will host its fiercest rival to kick off its Season 20 campaign, and fans can arrive early to win a Dynamo-branded wall flag.
Space City Night presented by Conoco Phillips – April 19 vs. Colorado Rapids
The second week of April features Space City Night when the Dynamo take on the Colorado Rapids. Fans can participate in pre-game STEM activities that celebrate the science of football and space exploration. The club will also highlight community STEM initiatives and host local school STEM groups.
Season 20 Celebration – May 10th vs. Seattle Sounders FC
The highlight of this season’s theme nights is the Alumni Weekend Season 20 celebration, where the club welcomes former players back to H-Town. Featuring fan favorites from the past 19 seasons, the special features a thrilling match against Seattle Sounders FC on Saturday, May 10th.
Kick Cancer Night presented by MD Anderson Cancer Center – May 31 vs. Sporting Kansas City
The last day of May is Kick Cancer Night hosted by the MD Anderson Cancer Center where the Dynamo host Sporting Kansas City. During the game, the Dynamo and front kit sponsor MD Anderson Cancer Center will recognize and celebrate cancer survivors in recognition of National Cancer Survivors Day on June 1.
H-Town Night – July 19th vs. philadelphia union
The club will celebrate all things Houston during H-Town Night, highlighted by a special merchandise collection. This time, the Dynamo will host the Philadelphia Union at Shell Energy Stadium in a cross-conference matchup where the two sides will go head-to-head. It was Houston’s first time since beating Union 3-0 in the 2018 U.S. Open Cup final.
Military Appreciation Night Hosted by Heriberto Ramos & Associates – July 25 vs. LA Galaxy
The club will recognize U.S. military service members from Houston and around the world when it hosts MLS Cup champion LA Galaxy on July 25. Dynamo & Dash Charities will lead efforts to celebrate active-duty military and veterans who participate in or play during the game. This includes a military appreciation dinner and hosting service members and their families during the game.
Children’s Night – August 23rd vs. San Jose Earthquakes
Dynamo will be hosting a Kids Night on Saturday August 23rd to celebrate the last day of summer. Fans young and old can expect festivities throughout the game, including a birthday celebration for Diesel, special prizes for children and more. In an earthquake.
Noce Latina – September 20 vs Portland Timbers
Houston will host Noche Latina presented by Verizon on September 20th when the Portland Timbers visit Shell Energy Stadium. The Dynamo will celebrate the Latino community and Latino heritage through music, art, food and football as the Dynamo look to improve their 6-1-7 (WLD) home record in all contests against the Timbers.
Fan Appreciation Night – October 4 vs. San Diego FC
As the 20th regular season concludes at Shell Energy Stadium, Houston will celebrate its dedicated and passionate fans with a Fan Appreciation Night vs. MLS newcomer San Diego FC with recognition, special offers and matchday lighting ceremonies.
In addition to theme nights, fans can also look forward to special offers tailored to specific match numbers. The Dynamo will celebrate St. Paddy’s Day weekend with drink specials when they host Real Salt Lake on Saturday, March 15. Wednesday night games against Minnesota United FC (May 14) and Vancouver Whitecaps FC (July 16) will feature half-price beer nights. .
The club will also host the 2025 Dynamo Season Kickoff Fan Fest on Sunday, February 16 at Shell Energy Stadium to kick off the new campaign and celebrate the start of Houston’s 20th MLS season. Free event tickets can be secured here.
