God, how things work these days. Coca-Cola, which criticized Donald Trump after the 2021 Capitol riots, just gifted the president-elect with his own inauguration bottle design.
Of course, Trump is infamous for his love-hate relationship with Diet Coke.
Trump spokeswoman Margot Martin said on her social media that day, “President Trump received the first-ever presidential inauguration Diet Coke bottle tonight from Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO James Quincy.”
Quincey even posed with Trump looking at the bottle design.
The label shows an image of the White House, which will once again become Trump’s residence on January 20, 2025. The words “Inaugural Ceremony of the President of the United States” and “Donald J. Trump” appear along with the date.
It’s surprising that some major corporations have the courage to once again recognize Trump’s presidency, despite his presidency.
trump likes coke
Donald Trump has had an affinity for soft drinks for years. Especially cola products.
During his first term as President, he famously installed a special button in the White House to ensure immediate delivery of drinks.
President Biden removed the button as soon as he took office.

UFC CEO Dana White was surprised to learn that even though President Trump doesn’t seem to drink any water, he always has a bottle or glass of Coke on hand.
“He would sit through the fight with me all night long. You’re talking for about six hours all night long. So I’ll ask him, ‘Would you like some water?’ No, no, no.” White said in an interview with Tucker Carlson. “If someone brings him a Coke, he’ll drink it.”

It wasn’t always a rosy relationship
Things haven’t always been cordial between President-elect Trump and Coca-Cola. The company criticized Trump and his supporters following the Jan. 6 protests.
They issued a statement calling the largely peaceful protests “an assault on the ideals of American democracy.”
In 2021, Trump called for a boycott of Coke products after the company attacked Georgia’s election integrity law at the time.
“For years, radical left Democrats have been doing the dirty work by boycotting products when something from that company is done or mentioned in a way that offends them. Now they are enjoying great success with WOKE CULTURE CULTURE and our sacred elections,” he said.
He specifically mentioned several companies, including Coca-Cola.
President Trump said the following about the GA boycott:
“We boycott Major League Baseball, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, JPMorgan Chase, ViacomCBS, Citigroup, Cisco, UPS and Merck. Do not go back to their products until they relent. “We can play better than them,” he said.

But once again, everything seems to be fine between the two. Winning will allow you to do so. Don’t think for a moment that winning the popular vote isn’t that important of a factor here.
