We get a lot of emails from a single scheduling site, but because the situations vary, we also get a lot of emails like this:
I want to see all mail sent by one of two senders. For example, I only want to see “GroupA”. (email protected)
I want to search for displayed senders. That is, I want to search for an address, not an email address, in the “From:” line.
No matter what combination I use in the filters or search for Mail.app, I can’t seem to get this to work.
I’ve done some research on the RFCs that define this area, and apparently it’s called “Display Names”.
However, if you look for detailed instructions for Apple Mail (and Gmail and email in general), you won’t find anything that can be handled at this level of detail.
Is there a method I can’t find in Apple Mail?
