Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has finally received a major content update.
Developer Rocksteady Studios confirmed in December that the game’s current season would be its final one.
And Season 4 concluded today with the release of Season 4 Episode 8.
“While Season 4 Episode 8 marks the final battle against Brainiac, all online features will remain available, so you can still enjoy co-op play with friends as well as content from all previous seasons/episodes.” Rocksteady explained.
Players can also play the game through the recently released offline mode. This mode allows access to the main story campaign and all post-launch seasonal gameplay content without an internet connection.

After multiple delays, Suicide Squad was released last February to critical reception and turned out to be a commercial failure, with publisher and Rocksteady owner Warner losing $200 million on the game.
Suicide Squad is one of January’s PlayStation Plus Essential games.
In June, it was claimed that Rocksteady was helping develop an unannounced Hogwarts Legacy Director’s Cut.
The London, England-based studio reportedly suffered another wave of layoffs last summer and just before Christmas.
