Philippe Saint-Andre has assessed Sale’s title prospects and declared: “Now it’s time to win something again.”
The Frenchman took charge when the Sharks won their solitary Premiership title in 2005/06, beating Leicester 45-20 at a rain-soaked Twickenham.
The win, then owned by Brian Kennedy, raised hopes of continued success for the Manchester-based club.
But that hasn’t happened, and only in recent seasons.
