Late Saturday, the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said 11 people died in the Eaton fire. The fire near Pasadena is one of the deadliest fires in California history.
Five people were confirmed dead in the Palisade fire, bringing the total number of deaths from a series of fires across Los Angeles to 16. Officials have warned that the death toll is likely to rise further.
