California mom confronts Gov. Gavin Newsom over handling response destructive forest fires Los Angeles County called on him to organize and resolve the situation so residents could deal with the aftermath of the fire.
Rachel Darvish ran up to Newsom as he was getting into his black SUV and explained that her daughter’s school had been destroyed.

“Tell me what you’re going to do,” said Darvish, a lawyer.
Newsom responded. He said he was trying to contact President Biden to see what they could do to help Darvish and her daughter.
“Can you hear me? Can I hear you on the phone? Because I don’t believe it.” she answered. Newsom pointed to his cell phone and claimed he couldn’t call the president because of poor cell service.
Darvish said Thursday on “Jesse Watters Primetime” that he wanted to believe Newsom was telling the truth about what he was trying to do. call Biden.
“I really want to believe it. I really want to believe it, but there’s no cell phone reception in certain areas, right? But that’s a big problem in itself. Why doesn’t he have a satellite truck with a cell phone?” ” she asked.
Biden met with Newsom on Wednesday and received a briefing on the multiple infernos raging across California.

Darvish said there have been historical fires in Pacific Palisades and it’s unclear why the response has been slow.
A high school has been destroyed in a raging PALISADES fire that has featured in several Hollywood films.
“I got notified of the fire and came out of the house and the fire was right there so I packed up and left. I didn’t see a single fire truck coming to help me on the way down,” she said. Fox News host Jesse Watters.

She added that it wasn’t the firefighters’ fault because the orders “come from above.”
Newsom said, “Governor, please clean this up.” Fix it and move on? At least that’s what I want to see. But will that happen? I don’t know. You know, these guys are very entrenched in what they do.”
