The Eclipse Foundation has released GlassFish 7.0.21, an update to its enterprise Java application server that focuses on fixing several persistent bugs. This release also provides improved connection pool lookup messages and improved error messages for app deployments that are larger than the Admin Console’s upload size limit.
GlassFish 7.0.21, available for download from glassfish.org, was released on January 3. GlassFish implements the Jakarta EE 10 enterprise Java specification.
The Eclipse GlassFish release notes describe this release as “helpful for tracking down several nasty bugs reported by GlassFish users,” including fast computer restarts, random 403 responses for authenticated sessions, and the Faces UI component failing to initialize in the GlassFish builtin. “It’s all about,” he explains. “We are proud to announce that after much research and hard work, we were able to resolve all issues,” Eclipse said.
