Christen Harper, wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, expressed sadness over the wildfires that have swept through the Los Angeles area over the past two days.
The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model posted a video showing the devastation in the area caused by the bushfires and offered her thoughts on the dire situation.

“This is absolutely horrible,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Our thoughts go out to everyone affected by the devastating fires across Los Angeles.
“So many places I’ve loved my whole life are gone forever. Friends have lost their homes and become refugees. It’s a truly scary and helpless situation.
“Thinking of the brave firefighters and emergency responders who work tirelessly to keep people safe.”
Goff played for the Los Angeles Rams from 2016 to 2020 before being traded to the Lions for Matthew Stafford.
California wildfires have ripped through Los Angeles County, forcing thousands of people from their homes.
Rams stars Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua offered their thoughts and prayers regarding this devastating situation.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by the fire,” Coop wrote to X. “Thank you to firefighters, emergency responders, and everyone else doing their best in incomprehensible circumstances,” he wrote.
Nacua added, “Thank you to all our first responders! God bless the families affected!”

At least five fires have broken out in the area since Tuesday afternoon. Several people were killed and more than 1,000 structures were lost.
