Marvel Rivals is about to launch a highly anticipated and difficult Season 1, but NetEase couldn’t keep everything a secret. Several characters have been leaked by data miners over the past few weeks, but now some of these leaked characters have been confirmed via an official promotional video. Things are looking pretty fantastic for players, as the Fantastic Four headline the cover of Marvel Rivals Season 1.
Marvel Rivals’ Fantastic Four leak
The Fantastic Four have been featured in a number of leaks over the past few weeks, but thanks to X0X_LEAK, a very reliable leaker from Marvel Rivals who works on X, we finally have our first look at them. Human Torch, The Thing, Invisible Woman, Mr. Marvel Rivals Season 1 promotional image featuring Fantastic.

When I run the text through Google Lens, it looks like this:

This is basically confirming the legitimacy of previous character leaks, X0X_LEAKSeason 1 is scheduled January 10, 2024. This also coincides with the end date of the current Battle Pass.
Leaked maps and characters
Additionally, the New York-themed map appears to be a safe choice for Season 1 as it appears in the promotional image above. There are many other unreleased maps leaked from the same account, including:
- kunlun
- collector theme park
- Thebes, Egypt
- Krakoa // Domination
- Arako // Escort
- New York // Escort + Hybrid
However, it’s not clear if it will actually be available during Season 1, except in New York. Likewise, X0X_LEAK listed the following leaked characters other than the Fantastic Four who will likely join Marvel Rivals in Season 1 and beyond:
- Angela
- Hit Monkey
- deadpool
- captain marvel
- emma frost
- Phoenix/Jean Gray
- valkyrie
- violation
- leaf
- hood
- Ultron
Currently, the Fantastic Four are basically locked into the first season, and we’re curious to know how many of the above characters will join the roster. I doubt all 15 of these items will be added in one season, but it’s nice to see a variety of them represented.
As always, any leaks or rumors should be taken lightly. We have no doubt that the image is legit, especially if the art style matches previous promotional material, but it’s always better to wait for official confirmation.
