We’re coming to a close in 2024, so why not end it with a frivolous CES announcement? It’s like LG’s premium (it should be premium!) microwave oven with a larger touchscreen than an iPad. I’m not sure what you’re going to see during the three and a half minutes it takes to heat up the butter chicken curry, but you can watch it in gorgeous full HD resolution.
The touchscreen integrates with LG’s ThinQ smart home dashboard, if you decide it’s the right time to change channels on your TV or manipulate compatible Matter and Thread devices, such as smart lights and other devices. It can also be paired with the company’s induction range oven to display cooking progress, if you have trouble stretching your neck from the microwave to the kitchen burner. It’s not a washing machine within a washing machine, but you still have to like CES.
LG is going on a trip this year.
