A last-minute conversion from Springbok flyhalf Handre Pollard earned Leicester Tigers a draw against Harlequins at Twickenham in front of 78,000 fans.
Quins looked set for a narrow win before Tigers replacement prop Dan Cole crashed over the line to level the match, setting up Pollard’s game-saving kick.
Quins held a slim one-point lead at the break after a thrilling first half that saw the lead change hands four times. Wing Cadan Murley’s try in the 70th minute looked to have secured Quins a point, but the Tigers fought back and both sides claimed try bonuses.
