Dear Bill,
1. The publication of the Annual Report (2023/24), including the Remuneration Committee Report on the remuneration of senior leadership within the RFU, continued to receive a number of negative reactions among stakeholders across the game.
2. Reported financial aspects (including but not limited to annual losses due to employee layoffs and senior management compensation) have led to increased media coverage.
3. Additionally, we understand that the Committee was only provided with the report about an hour before it was due.
