Pakistan white-ball captain Mohammad Rizwan and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) president Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday hailed the ICC’s decision to host the Champions Trophy under a hybrid model as an “important milestone” for the country. I did it.

The hybrid model meant India would play all their matches in Dubai, including the key match against Pakistan scheduled for February 23.
Naqvi was very happy to see Pakistan hosting part of the showpiece under the hybrid system.
“We are pleased to have reached an agreement that demonstrates the spirit of cooperation and collaboration that defines our sport, based on principles of equality and respect,” Naqvi said in a press release.
The opening match of the tournament will be played in Karachi on February 19, with Pakistan taking on New Zealand, with the final scheduled for March 9.
The 50-over event, which was last played in 2017, will be played in 15 matches with at least 10 matches scheduled in Pakistan.
Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi will be the three hosting venues in Pakistan.
