Mac OS has application-specific file system access rules.
- The first time an application attempts to access a location while logged in graphically.
Desktop
A pop-up will appear asking you to allow/deny file system access. - The same settings can be edited from the UI in System Settings.
I’m looking for a way to change settings remotely.
- I’m connected to a remote Mac via VPN.
- I have full root user SSH access and no firewall.
- However, if you remove your Mac’s privacy settings, you will lose access to certain folders.
Is there a way to remotely modify access settings for SSH?
