Sonic fans, beware. It looks like spoilers for the third movie have spread all over the internet.
Look, I’m not the strictest spoiler stickler in the world, but spoilers are still a little annoying sometimes. This is especially true for movies that haven’t been released yet. Being surprised by something is such a joy! And if I want to enjoy a good surprise, I might want to avoid anything to do with our good friend Sonic the Hedgehog. It looks like spoilers for the third film have spread online. I won’t link to it, but I’ve seen the video shared around the movie’s post-credits scene, which wouldn’t necessarily spoil the movie itself, considering the first two movies used it to set up the next movie. But it’s still best seen in movie theaters.

From what I’ve seen, that’s one big spoiler floating around, but it might still be worth muting the general Sonic-related terminology, especially if you hate spoilers. The film’s worldwide release is this Friday, December 20th, and you only have four days to wait, as the official Sonic the Hedgehog Movie Twitter account shared a spoiler, saying “Shadow must not be let down.” You wouldn’t want to do that now, would you?

Last month, director Jeff Fowler went out of his way to tease a post-credits scene from this third film, and earlier this month the filmmaker confirmed there will be at least one of them. I can’t say which one. Some of them were shared online, maybe all of them. Therefore, it is best to avoid using the Internet for a few days. You probably haven’t 100% completed Sonic x Shadow Generations yet, so why not give it a try in the meantime?
