Twelve people have died from carbon monoxide poisoning at a Georgia ski resort, police said.
The bodies of 11 foreigners and a Georgian national were found in a bedroom above a restaurant in the northern city of Gudauri, according to authorities.
The police said, “As a result of the preliminary investigation, there were no signs of violence on the body,” and it appears to have been an accident, AFP reported.
Gudauri is the largest and highest ski resort in the former Soviet Union.
