Lee Mehr of VGChartz: “Dragon Age: The Veilguard may be one of the hardest games to officially review. Yes, it deserves fair consideration for a big-budget action RPG from EA, but it’s by definition functional, if not polished. But like a mirror, there’s something to be said for such an incredible experience that was technically sound at the time of release, and that’s how much of an impact it can have on each fundamental aspect – aesthetics, music, narrative, gameplay. Authenticity in these various aspects The tone feels inconsistent and the world feels shallow. Perhaps Bioware’s greatest offense is also its most ironic: making a Dragon Age game that feels pathetically toothless.”
