The first trailer for Seth Rogen’s Apple TV+ series The Studio has been released, and it features plenty of celebrities letting us know just how terrible he is.
Okay, they’re not specifically saying that Rogen is terrible, but there are actually some celebrities in this thing. The Studio is a 10-part long series created by Rogen and his frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg, in which the actor plays the fictional Matt Remick, the new head of Continental Studios, not the actual production company. The official logline reads, “As the film struggles to survive and remain relevant, Matt and his infighting core executives battle their own insecurities while bickering with narcissistic artists and greedy corporate overlords who work tirelessly to make great movies.” “I cry,” the official logline explains.
Every party, set visit, casting decision, marketing meeting, and awards ceremony that the power suit hides with endless panic presents them with either a brilliant opportunity for success or a career-ending catastrophe. “As someone who eats, sleeps and breathes movies, it’s something Matt has pursued his whole life, and it could be his undoing.”

The film has a very large cast, with actors like Catherine O’Hara (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice) and Catherine Hahn (Agatha Ollong) joining the main cast, and Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) appearing as a guest star. Icons like Ron Howard, Martin Scorsese, and Charlize Theron play themselves. It seems like everyone doesn’t really like Rogen’s character. Has some acting skills).
It all looks pretty fun in the first trailer, and we won’t have to wait long as it’s currently set to release on Apple TV+ on March 26th next year.
