Radio host Charlamagne Tha God and former Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley say the controversial ‘Morning Joe’ co-host’s visit to President-elect Donald Trump’s private residence was nothing more than a ratings prank He said no.
MSNBC co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, some of Trump’s fiercest critics in the media, said Monday that they had a face-to-face meeting with the president-elect at Mar-a-Lago last week. An opportunity for people with different opinions to talk to each other.
Haley spoke about the incident during an episode of her SiriusXM show “Nikki Haley Live,” which will be released in full on Wednesday, November 27 at 8 a.m. ET.
“Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough tore me up if I voted for Donald Trump or said anything about agreeing with him. Although they criticized him when they thought he was wrong, they praised him when I thought he was good. They were torn. “I’m getting up.” Hayley had this to say about the pair before the sudden change of direction.

“But the truth is, they didn’t suddenly see the light. They saw the ratings,” Haley suggested, with Charlamagne laughing and agreeing. “I mean, let’s be clear: They saw the ratings plummeting and realized, ‘Oh, you better get along with Donald Trump or you won’t do the show.’”
“This is a ratings and revenue game,” Charlamagne said. “What I don’t understand is, if you don’t like what someone is saying or you don’t like what someone is doing, why not go to that person and talk about it and challenge them on the spot?”
He added that Democrats who complain about needing their own progressive media could change their game plan simply by appearing on the platforms they criticize.
“So, I think the biggest problem is that even now, when you look at progressives, they’re having conversations like, ‘Oh, the left needs Joe Rogan’ and ‘The left needs a network that’s as conservative as the right.’ No, why don’t you up your game and get on this platform and talk to Joe Rogan?” he said

Charlamagne added that there is one Democrat who appears to be ahead of the curve on this tactic.
“Looking at what Governor Newsom is doing right now, I think it’s a smart strategy. You know, he’s not my favorite candidate, is he? Or is he not the person I want to support right now? But I like him. Charlamagne is a news person like Fox News. By appearing in the media, “I think I’m meeting people where they are. At least a lot of Democratic politicians don’t do that. “They don’t meet people where they are.”
News of the Trump-Scarborough-Brzezinski meeting caused a firestorm on the left, with MSNBC employees criticizing the co-hosts.
One MSNBC employee reacted to Fox News Digital, calling it “cowardly.” “You’re doing exactly what (anti-Trump historian) Tim Snyder warned you not to do on air: submitting in advance. It’s disgusting, but frankly, not surprising.”
The source said MSNBC’s ranks now “largely despise” the network’s rising stars and “feel like they’re just being opportunistic.”
Meanwhile, President Trump described the meeting as “very friendly.”
“I received a call from Joe Scarborough requesting a meeting for him and Micah, and we agreed that it would be good if such a meeting could be held,” Trump told Fox News Digital. “I was very grateful that many things were discussed and that there was a desire for open communication. In many ways, it is unfortunate that it did not happen a long time ago.
“The meeting ended in a very positive way and we agreed to have future conversations,” he added.
