WTMG’s Leo Faria: “To be fair, what’s really disappointing about Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered is that it’s not the most impressive piece of work as a remaster. The colors are dull, the particle effects still look dated, and the gameplay is pretty good. But in that regard, everything related to Shinji Mikami’s aspect of the project, namely the gameplay aspect, was a mixed bag at best for me, Grasshopper Manufacture was underrated and seriously flawed. Kudos to this cult hit for giving it a chance to shine again, I know it’s aged well.”
