Former President Donald Trump is expected to speak early Wednesday from his election night headquarters in West Palm Beach, Florida, as Vice President Kamala Harris’ path to victory narrows.

So far, the battlegrounds where CBS News expects President Trump to win are North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. CBS News rated Wisconsin as a pro-Trump state. He needs 270 electoral votes to win.
Harris was scheduled to celebrate election night at her alma mater, Howard University, but after midnight, Harris campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond told the crowd that she would not be speaking to supporters tonight. Harris is staying at the Vice President’s residence in Washington, DC.
Trump supporters attending a watch party in West Palm Beach Tuesday night were optimistic as the results came in with Fox News in the background. Senators Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Marco Rubio, and North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum were among these supporters.
