Cardi B and DDG recently came under fire from online trolls after posting about their children on social media platform X.
First, Cardi B posted an adorable video of her son Wave Set Cephus spelling words while his older sister Kulture Kiari Cephus cheered him on.
The proud mom of three with Offset captioned the video: “My kids are so smart,” but some trolls reacted negatively.

One reviewer accused her of “secretly trashing people’s kids,” and Cardi was embarrassed.
She said, “I’m lost? “Can’t I be proud of my son for spelling his name and other things at age 3?”
Fans were quick to jump to Cardi’s defense in response to the negative response.
One supporter said, “Don’t stop bragging. Someone said I was insensitive for always mentioning that my daughter can read at 2. Because not all children can read. For example, I worked and so did she.”
Another person praised Cardi’s dedication, saying: “This is an important time for parents to pour into their children’s hearts and spend as much time with them as possible. You are clearly doing an amazing job, because it shows through your children’s speech!”
Likewise, DDG encountered trolls after sharing an AI-enhanced image of his son Halo, which he shared with Halle Bailey.
One reviewer told him, “Stop using your son for fame,” to which DDG responded, “I never understood this story when my son couldn’t even talk yet. He is now ‘famous’ because of his parents. “If my dad had posted this when he was young, no one would have cared haha.”

In DDG’s defense, fans also strongly opposed the trolls. One person wrote: “Do you hate a young man who loves his son and is having the best time with him? 😂😂😂 That’s why you all have stupid baby daddies.” Another added humorously: “You are just like any other parent who posts pictures of their children. How dare you; You are a monster 🤣👏 I have five kids and I am nothing so his logic is wrong. lol.”
