It’s finally release week for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6!
Get ready for action. Call of Duty games now have the release times and large file sizes we’re used to. Players who have pre-ordered the game or subscribed to a specific Game Pass plan can now preload Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, allowing them to download and install the game within a few days to get it ready for launch.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 releases on Friday, October 25th for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Black Ops 6 File Size
Black Ops 6’s current file size is approximately 102GB, based on the official PC system requirements, which specify recommended storage space. However, I understand that the file size of the console version may vary between platforms.
When Black Ops 6 releases, Black Ops 6 and Warzone will become the default game tiles on the Home tab, replacing Modern Warfare III. Players can immediately access Black Ops 6 and cross-launch Call of Duty: Warzone.
Players who want to continue playing Modern Warfare III can do so by cross-launching from the All Games tab, or from the Last Played tile if this is the most recently played content.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 PC System Requirements
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 can be played on the lowest settings using an NVIDIA GTX 960, AMD Radeon RX 470, or Intel Arc A580. For the best 4K gaming experience, you’ll need an RTX 4070, AMD Radeon RX 6800XT, or RTX 3080.
With the right specs, all we can hope for is a smooth launch.
