DANGEN Entertainment and developer LABS today announced Lovish, an outrageous 8-bit action-adventure game releasing at Steam Next Fest in October 2024.
in LoveishIn , players take on the role of love-struck Lord Solomon as he fights his way through the demon lord’s castle through nostalgic room-by-room action! He is on a mission to “rescue” the princess and “win her heart,” but along the way, he will encounter much more than he bargained for!
Over 50 levels, players are immersed in a mix of combat, platforming, and puzzles, with multiple objectives to keep them on their toes. After clearing each room, players will encounter random event scenes where everything from unexpected RPG battles to bizarre outcomes can happen! Players can aim for the cleanest time in their room to brag to their friends. Featuring over 100 different characters, in-game shops, secret bonuses and mini-games. Loveish A quirky retro adventure filled with surprises, laughs and replayability.

Lord Solomon and the Saviors of Light set out for Castle Cornelius to rescue Princess Tsuna from the clutches of the evil Demon Lord! But the knight is worried… what if the freed princess falls in love with one of her friends instead of herself? So he does what anyone blinded by love would do, and abandons his friends! Solomon breaks into the Devil’s castle alone, vowing to steal the princess’ heart.
As Lord Solomon, explore a series of bite-sized rooms, slash monsters, collect items, and make your way to the exit! After clearing each room, enjoy a short cutscene where anything can happen! Can you find the item? Random encounter RPG fights? Will the world perish? Conquer each room of the Demon King’s Castle and take on one challenge at a time!
