A basic subscription gives members access to a library of NES, SNES, Game Boy, and Game Boy Color games. The more expensive expansion tiers coming in 2021 include libraries of N64, Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, and Game Boy Advance games.
The expansion also gives subscribers access to paid DLC for games like Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at no additional cost.
Nintendo is also giving paid subscribers exclusive access to purchase peripherals like retro Switch controllers. On Wednesday morning, Nintendo announced the Alarmo interactive clock, which will be available exclusively to NSO members to keep them on time.
