Vice President Kamala Harris is interviewed by Alex Cooper on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast.

Vice President Kamala Harris looked serious during an interview for the sex-positive ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast that aired Sunday.
Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate, spent most of the roughly 40-minute conversation making the case against Donald Trump and blasting the Republican candidate’s track record on abortion and women’s rights.
“There are currently 20 states that have banned Trump abortions,” Harris told “Call her Daddy” host Alex Cooper. “This is the same person who said women who have abortions should be punished.”
In 2022, three Supreme Court justices nominated by Trump during his presidency were part of the majority vote that overturned Roe v. Wade. This was the first Supreme Court decision over the past half-century to establish a federal right to abortion. This decision allowed states to restrict or allow abortion as they saw fit.
The “Call Her Daddy” podcast is hugely popular with young women, and Harris already has strong support from her voter base.
But podcasts don’t typically cover political topics, Cooper noted.
“I know there is a very diverse audience when it comes to politics,” Cooper said on the podcast before beginning his interview with Harris. “Please hear me out when I say that my goal today is not to change your political affiliation.”
Harris’ “Call Her Daddy” appearance is part of a larger media storm her campaign plans for next week, an attempt to push Trump out of the news cycle.
On Sunday morning, Trump’s wife and former first lady, Melania Trump, broke the Republican line by doubling down on her pro-abortion stance in a Fox News interview.
