Mobile games don’t have to be meaningful, as evidenced by the continued popularity of franchises where players shoot birds (which can fly) at pigs (which are green).
But even in the jumbled world of mobile game concepts, Foxy’s Football Regime I went out on a limb with honor.
Hyper-casual gameplay encompasses a variety of genres, including soccer, construction, collections, and multiplayer competition. These genres aren’t natural bedfellows, any more than foxes are the obvious choice for a football game, but it all works like a dream.
Here’s how it all works:
The first port of call is the island of Aztlan, a lush green habitat dotted with palm trees and building sites.
Tap on one of these sites to begin building your building. Once a building is complete, you can tap it again to upgrade it, and you can continue to tap it throughout the island until all the buildings reach their final form.
You then move on to the next island and earn stars that determine your position on the leaderboard.
But wait a minute. It’s not that simple. Construction is an expensive business, so you’ll need to keep your coffers filled with gold coins to finance your work. And what is the easiest way to earn coins quickly? That’s right: playing soccer.
The soccer part Foxy’s Football Regime You can see yourself shooting at a goal, or more specifically a goal nested within a goal.
To shoot, simply slide your finger up the screen in the direction of your target. Unless it is windy in the stadium, in which case you should be prepared for gusts. Some targets also move, so you’ll need to take control of your shooting.
Hitting the target can result in a variety of outcomes, the most common of which is a massive rain of coins.
The size of this cascade depends on the stake amount. The basic shot uses one unit of energy (more on that later), but you can double or triple your ante in return for a proportionally larger reward as long as you don’t miss.
You can also attack other players’ islands, either randomly or in a targeted manner, destroying one of their buildings and forcing them to restart their quest to catch up with you on the leaderboard.
Sometimes you’ll be able to summon a moving target, paving the way for a big payday, while other times you’ll get special armor that can block a single attack on your island.
Contains familiar elements Foxy’s Football RegimeThese include an energy system that limits the number of shots you can take (unless you pay extra), gems for coin purchases, a tiered upgrade system, and more.
But it’s the way the game brings together so many different genres that it really helps. Foxy’s Football Regime It really stands out.
One minute you’ll be playing a physics-based soccer game, the next you’ll be expanding your realm by pouring coins into building Aztec pyramids or ancient Egyptian monuments.
The multiplayer is equally varied, combining the extremely evil and the extremely wholesome.
For example, if you’re not getting revenge on a player who pissed you off or targeting a LOL friend, you’re trading in some adorable artifacts you’ve earned through the campaign.
we are not sure Foxy’s Football Regime It’s either a nasty game with a good streak or a good game with a bad streak.
Either way, there’s nothing like it.
