Dan Biggar has urged Warren Gatland to recommend a flyhalf who will have a long-term place in the Wales team – the same move he made to him.
Gatland has used five different players in the No.10 role in the past 12 months – the retired Biggar, Gareth Anscombe, Sam Costelow, Ioan Lloyd and summer starter Ben Thomas.
Anscombe is set to return to action at new club Gloucester after a year out with injury, while Callum Sheedy’s move to Cardiff could see him join the ranks of contenders.
The 112-cap rain, whose autobiography will be published later this month, is based on her own experiences.
