Scam seller AimJunkies’ appeal of a $4.3 million bounty awarded to Bungie in May was dismissed.
Earlier this year, Bungie won a legal battle with cheat seller AimJunkies, claiming the cheat provider had infringed on its copyrights and trademarks. A Seattle jury awarded Bungie a surprising $4.3 million in damages and fees.
According to TorrentFreak, AimJunkies has since appealed the ruling and attempted a retrial, but both were denied. The appeals court has now upheld the $4.3 million arbitration award. With the retrial and appeal denied, Bungie is now set to receive the award.
According to the AimJunkies website, the cheat provider still provides cheats for over 100 other games.
Meanwhile, Bungie is continuing development on its next game, Marathon, which is scheduled for release in 2025.
