The former president slammed ABC’s Sunday night debate host as “fake news,” claimed the show featured a “panel of Trump haters” and attacked several network personalities by name.
“Why are they debating Kamala Harris on those networks?” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “They have a lot of questions to answer!!! Why did Harris turn down Fox, NBC, CBS, and even CNN? Stay tuned!!!”
President Trump agreed to two presidential debates with President Joe Biden earlier this year.
Biden performed so poorly in the June debate that pressure grew to abandon his bid for reelection.
He eventually did, and when Harris came to the top of the ticket, Trump announced on September 10 that he would no longer participate in the second debate scheduled for ABC, and attempted to switch to the right-wing cable network Fox News.
A recent message from President Trump suggests that date may now be uncertain.
