Ubisoft has teased the next Operator coming to Rainbow Six Siege: Greek Operator Skopós. He was once an ‘apex killer’, but was severely injured on the battlefield and was confined to a high-tech wheelchair. Instead of appearing in battle, Skopós now commands two full-body robots, between which the player can dynamically switch.
It’s a mechanism reminiscent of the recently released next-generation first-person shooter game ‘Specter Divide’. That In this game, the player controls a character and a ‘ghost’ that can detach from that character and perform various tasks.
Skopos entrance
Not much is known about Skopós other than the fact that it is scheduled to arrive during Operation Twin Shells. The name comes from the two robots that Skopós pilots on the battlefield, both of which are equally resilient and efficient.
If the player chooses to use Skopós, they will control these two robots. While controlling one, the other will automatically hide behind a shield. It is not yet clear how this unique operator works, as it is easy to see how quickly it can be overwhelming for enemy players.
To some in the community, this seems like a bad move. Many have called it an attempt to flatter disabled players, while others are upset that Skopós is using a wheelchair as the Operator, not realizing that he is piloting a robot.
Operation Twin Shell adds a lot, from new weapons to quality of life improvements.
Are you excited to take control of Skopos?
