Anita Joy In an interview with TMZ, he said he was relieved and happy to hear that three people had been arrested and charged with murder, but added that true justice would mean seeing these people severely convicted.
Johnny’s friend said she was optimistic that it would happen because all the suspects were being held on high bail. She was initially worried that the suspects would not be tried as adults. Based on what she saw the night of the murder, she thought they were likely juveniles.
However, all three are 18 years old and will be tried as adults.

Anita believes this tragedy could have been avoided if Level 8 had provided safer parking for its employees. Anita claims that she and others repeatedly pointed this out as a problem, but no action was taken.
She said neither she nor Johnny’s family had heard from the restaurant since the murders, and she said she had only received support from co-workers.
Anita also said she was grateful the case had made progress before Johnny’s August 31 birthday, which she said was a huge relief to his family.
