Ben Youngs insists Leicester players must take responsibility for last season’s failures and that Dan McKellar, who was sacked as manager in June, is not to blame.
The veteran scrumhalf will have to wear a heart monitor for at least three years after undergoing minor heart surgery in the summer, but has revealed he is doing everything he can to get things right in the Midlands.
The Tigers finished eighth in the Premier League just two years after winning the title, a year after reaching the semi-finals, and McKellar left the club.
Youngs was in France as an England player during the World Cup.
