The Game is becoming a father for the fourth time! The rapper shared the news in an interview with Elle on the Tacos and Swarma podcast.
When asked if he was expecting twins, The Game replied, “Get off the internet. I’m expecting one.”
Looking back on his age and impending fatherhood, he said, “I think of it in years. I’m 44. When my new kid turns 21, I’ll be 65, which seems pretty old until you think about someone who’s 65 right now. So when I think about it, I don’t know about Mariah Carey, but I think she’s probably 10 years older than me or Jayz. They’re probably 60. They still look young and great.”
The celebrity already has three children from previous relationships: 13-year-old California “Callie” Dream, 17-year-old son King Justice, and 21-year-old Harlem Karen.
He continued, “It’s not that bad, but I think it’s a new life at the end of the day. It’s going to be a different parenting experience than when I was a kid. When I was a kid, I still got dizzy on the street, and I don’t know how I got to this point. My kids are all fine, straight A students, good kids. So it’s going to be interesting to be a parent at this age.”
The Game didn’t confirm that Shanice Hairston, daughter of reality star Evelyn Lozada, was the mother of his unborn child, but the timing is similar.
On Father’s Day in June, Shanice announced her pregnancy news, sharing a photo of her belly and captioning it, “Another trip around the sun and praying it’s not my birthday yet.”
She also wished her baby daddy a happy Father’s Day, joking, “Happy Father’s Day, dad.”
While she didn’t specifically identify The Game as her father, the two were recently spotted on a date during a Christmas Eve dinner at Nobu in Malibu. Paparazzi captured the two leaving the restaurant and climbing into a black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon.
