Secret Service agents assigned to Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter Ella Emhoff arrested an “anti-police watchdog” during a violent altercation on a New York City sidewalk on Tuesday.
Footage obtained by TMZ shows a man described as an “anti-police surveillance” being upset that police are allowing him to park while holding up a placard, while citizens are not.
Emhoff, the daughter of second-class gentleman Doug Emhoff, entered a Tribeca restaurant for lunch when a frustrated New Yorker confronted her security guard outside.
The man may not have realized he was dealing with the Secret Service and may have simply thought they were plainclothes police officers.
Eventually, he ripped the license plate off one of the agency’s SUVs.

Secret Service Arrests Man, Ella Emhoff Escorted to Safety
The video shows Ella Emhoff, who was inside the restaurant with a friend, being rushed out and put into one of the SUVs.
The Secret Service confirmed to TMZ that the man tampered with the license plate without provocation. He was taken into custody and arrested.
The video shows him being dragged away.
The agency said none of the people under its supervision were at risk as a result of the altercation.
It is currently unclear what charges the man will face.

I’m glad you took good care of that guy.
To be honest, The Secret Service is very lucky here. If a guy who was dealing with Ella Emhoff’s details climbed up the sloping roof and started complaining about parking, they would never have stopped him.
As the Trump assassination attempt shows, a slightly sloping roof is the institution’s kryptonite.
The Secret Service has been under intense scrutiny following numerous failed assassination attempts on Trump and the death of a former fire chief who was protecting his wife and children from gunfire at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Meanwhile, Emhoff somehow established himself as a model, designer, and style icon.
