In this episode Internal coverageJason Pitts and Frank Schwab pick six NFL teams and play a game of “angels and demons” to predict the best-case and worst-case scenario for each team.
They start with the Packers, who still have something to prove in the regular season, and then move on to the Rams. Frank says Matt Stafford is having the best season of his career and Sean McVay is in full swing, but why is Pitts negative about the Rams?
The players try their best to disagree with the Dallas Cowboys, but ultimately agree with each other and everyone else about what they can expect from America’s Team and what they can expect from them during the regular season.
The Chargers have Jim Harbaugh, but does that mean they’ll be immediately better? Or could it be worse? Once again, they’re not on the same page on this issue.
Frank picks the Jets as the No. 1 seed in the AFC, but explains why, and Pitts is waiting for the inevitable collapse if the Jets aren’t great. Meanwhile, the Buffalo Bills might be able to excel this time around without having to expect too much.
Finally, we end the show with “Hammer It,” where each player tells us who they would bet on to win this year’s NFL MVP award. Watch to find out why Frank is excited to bet on Jared Goff!
