New Apple Immersive Video series, films, concerts, and more premiere on Apple Vision Pro starting July 18.
Apple Vision Pro users can experience breathtaking series, movies, and more across a wide range of genres, including action adventure, documentary, music, screenplay, sports, and travel.
Starting this week, Apple is releasing an all-new series and film shot in Apple Immersive Video, exclusively on Apple Vision Pro. Apple Immersive Video is a stunning storytelling format that puts viewers in the center of the action, using 3D video recorded in 8K with a 180-degree field of view and Spatial Audio.
boundlessA new series that invites viewers to experience a once-in-a-lifetime journey no matter where they are, “Hot Air Balloon,” premieres tonight, July 18 at 6 p.m. PT. Wild animalsA nature documentary series that gives you an up-close look at some of the planet’s most fascinating creatures premieres in August. Highis an aerial travel series that takes viewers on an iconic journey from incredible heights, launching in September.
Later this year, users can enjoy special performances from some of the world’s biggest artists, starting with an immersive experience featuring The Weeknd—the first-ever scripted Apple Immersive short film. immersedA behind-the-scenes and on-court look at the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend, written and directed by Academy Award winner Edward Berger. big wave surfingThe first in a new sports series with Red Bull.

with boundlessViewers embark on a dream trip while meeting inspiring people in extraordinary places. In “Hot Air Balloon,” viewers soar over the otherworldly landscapes of Cappadocia, Turkey. In the next episode, “Arctic Surfing,” airing this fall, viewers can flow with the brave surfers who migrate to the frigid regions north of the Arctic Circle in search of winter waves.
Wild animals
This August, Apple will release the second episode. Wild animalsThe show takes viewers to Kenya’s Sheldrick Wildlife Conservation Society, where orphaned elephants find their footing under the care of their caregivers, frolic in bubbly mud, and form families of their own with each other, their human friends, and the wild elephants that roam the land beyond. Later this year, viewers will join a group of intrepid divers in the Bahamas, where they will dive deep and face top predators, and discover creatures that are far more complex than they are often portrayed.

In the first episode HighIn the air travel series that premieres this September, viewers will fly over volcanoes, climb waterfalls and discover the unspeakable natural wonders of Hawaii, the world’s longest island chain. In the next episode, which airs later this year, viewers will experience a cool fall in New England and take an incredible journey along the winding coastline and along breathtaking rivers.

Set during World War II, this action-adventure story takes viewers aboard a submarine as its crew struggles to survive a deadly torpedo attack. 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend
This fall, basketball fans can experience the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis from a unique perspective with an immersive short film featuring Rising Stars, the Slam Dunk Contest, the first-ever NBA vs. WNBA 3-Point Challenge with Sabrina Ionescu and Steph Curry, and the All-Star Game.
The Weeknd’s immersive experience
Apple Music Award winner and seven-time Diamond certified artist The Weeknd is back in the spotlight with an immersive experience coming exclusively to Apple Vision Pro later this year.
Redbull: Big Wave Surfing
Viewers will experience the power of the ocean like never before as elite surfers attempt to ride the world’s heaviest wave off Tiahupo’o, a remote coastline in Tahiti. The series was filmed this summer and is scheduled for release later this year.
Apple Empowers Filmmakers with New Tools for Immersive Video
Apple and Blackmagic Design are teaming up to help professional filmmakers bring their creative visions to life with a new production workflow for Apple Immersive Video. This includes the all-new Blackmagic camera, URSA Cine Immersive, along with updated versions of DaVinci Resolve Studio and Apple Compressor. This comprehensive toolkit, which will be available later this year, will help bring even more immersive films and series to Apple Vision Pro users around the world.
