Slayers Set in a magical world set in a classic Japanese role-playing game, four schools of magic (black, sacred, shamanic, and white) draw their power from different sources at the center of a simmering cold war between dueling godlike beings. The first series, consisting of 26 episodes, begins with the two trying to stop Zelgadis, a combination of human, golem, and demon, from resurrecting the fallen demon king.
