Good news for everyone who has been waiting for a better way to run Delta game emulator on iPad. iPad support is now available in the currently released version 1.6. The latest update is a significant update that not only provides a version of the emulator optimized for iPad, but also provides seamless switching between iPhone and iPad, improved DS compatibility, new skins and menu button gestures, and a new logo. (Delta had to scrap its previous logo after Adobe threatened to sue it for being too similar to its signature ‘A’.)
The Delta version 1.6 update is available now on both the App Store and AltStore PAL. It comes just three months after Delta creator Riley Testut promised iPad support was coming, and it allows for both full-screen play and multiple windows using Stage Manager and Split View. But before you run and download it, please note the developer’s warning for DS games: “This update is not compatible with existing DS saves. To avoid losing your progress, save normally in-game before updating.” The Delta team has also created a new app, Delta Legacy, to help users migrate their saves. Instructions for this process can be found on the Delta website.
