Joe Biden’s aides are producing a large-format printed summary sheet with step-by-step instructions detailing exactly how the president will approach the podium at his public speaking events.
Axios has obtained an event template sent to staff by the White House that outlines the president’s every move at campaign events.
In one such document, which runs to five pages, two of the pages include separate images showing the path Biden would take to get to the podium.
The leader of the free world needs a picture book that helps him navigate the relatively small space and get from backstage to the speech venue.

Biden’s Latest Cheat Sheet
The exclusive story published by Axios was written with the help of a staffer who participated in a fundraiser for President Biden’s re-election campaign.
According to the outlet, they were “surprised that a seasoned political professional like the president would need detailed verbal and visual instructions on how to enter and exit a room.”
No one can know how surprised this individual was. President Biden’s aides have a long history of guiding him step by step through events.
Two years ago, Biden accidentally released a briefing paper he was using at a meeting with wind industry leaders.
The president accidentally guided the event venue while holding a card prepared by his staff.
Some of the instructions were comedy gold.

- “You make a simple comment (2 minutes).”
- “Thank you to the participants.”
- “You go away.”
About a year later, another video surfaced showing an individual appearing to walk President Biden through the motions while stopping in North Carolina.

Is this simply a standard operating procedure?
White House officials responded to Axios’ report, trying to dismiss the giant picture book provided to the president as standard procedure.
“No matter who the president is, a high level of detail and precision is critical to the president’s pre-preparation work,” White House spokesman Andrew Bates said. “That’s a fundamental approach that all modern pre-preparation teams, including the Office of the Vice President and the agencies, use.”
“This document is a standard logistics briefing material and photo for all principals, including the Vice President,” added Vice Presidential Press Secretary Kamala Harris.
Of course, the Vice President also has an obsession with drawings, especially Venn diagrams.
