Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has signed a new contract with the Red Devils, locking the Dutchman in for at least another year.
While Ten Hag is set to remain at the club, Marcus Rashford is expected to leave this summer.
Erik Ten Haag signs New Deal
There was speculation at the end of last season whether Ten Hag would remain at Manchester United next year, with rumours circulating that the manager could be sacked after the FA Cup final.
But United surprised everyone by beating rivals Manchester City in the final, giving Ten Hag his second trophy in two years at the club.
After a summer filled with speculation surrounding a possible United managerial role, Ten Hag has finally been offered a contract extension that will keep the Dutchman at the club until at least 2026.

Despite the success of the last two years at Manchester, Ten Hag has made his intentions for the future clear: “I am delighted to have agreed to continue my partnership with the club. Looking back on the last two years, we can be proud of the two trophies we have won and the many examples of progress we have made from the position when I joined.
“But we must also be clear that there is a lot of work ahead of us to reach the level expected of Manchester United, which means challenging for English and European titles.”
There are just weeks to go until Ten Hag returns to pre-season training, but one of Manchester United’s most familiar faces could be missing.
Marcus Rashford eyes the exit
There has been a public feud between Rashford and Ten Hag during the Dutchman’s two-year tenure as manager, and the striker’s new contract could force a move for the striker.
Marcus Rashford has struggled for Premier League football in Manchester in the 2023/24 season, scoring just seven goals in 33 league appearances and struggling to get playing time.

Last year, there was a feud between United fans and the Star Boy, with Rashford being dragged out by his team-mates after a heated argument with a fan in the stands at Old Trafford before a match.
Having missed out on an England cap this summer and limited United appearances last year, Rashford could be considering a move away from Manchester to revive his career.
Reports suggest United are open to a bid for Rashford this summer, with Arsenal set to make a surprise move for the out-of-favour star, but PSG are the favourites to sign the Englishman.
