Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair, a software tool that helps users troubleshoot problems, is now available in 32 European countries, including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and the Netherlands. Launching in the U.S. in December 2023, Diagnostics gives users the same capabilities as Apple Authorized Service Providers and Independent Repair Providers, testing products for optimal component function and performance and helping identify which parts need repair. This happens. With this expansion, Apple Diagnostics for Self Service Repair now supports iPhone, Mac, and Studio Display models in 33 countries and 24 languages.
Customers can access Apple Diagnostics to better understand if their product needs repairs. You can start a session on a second product and check the health and performance of any devices that may need repairs. By starting a session and following the on-screen instructions, customers will find out if their product needs repair and which parts need to be replaced.
Launching in April 2022, Self-Service Repair will give anyone with experience repairing electronic devices access to manuals, genuine Apple parts, and tools used at Apple Store locations and Apple Authorized Service Providers. Self-service repairs support 42 Apple products and now include M3-based MacBook Air models. Next year, Canada will become the 34th country where Apple offers self-service repairs.
