Williams will now be hoping to end a long and difficult season on another high as Wales prepare to face Spain in the WXV2 play-offs.
Wales have endured a disappointing Six Nations, finishing bottom of the table with just one win against Italy.
Saturday’s winner will also secure qualification for next year’s Rugby World Cup, so the odds are even higher.
“Everyone is feeling really good at the moment because both we and Bristol have had a successful season,” Williams said.
“We’re planning on pumping this weekend.
“The Six Nations tournament didn’t go as well as we wanted, but we’ve put in a lot of work so far and are now focusing on the details.
“We know we’re a good team and we’ve proven it. We just have to replicate that and we’ll be fine.”
“We’ve got a really good group of players and if we all play our part we’ll do really well.”
