Fortnite fans are in for a treat with the Fortnite Reload update, an action-packed mode of Battle Royale and Zero Build featuring classic weapons, classic locations, and a classic atmosphere.
It begins immediately following the concert on Saturday, June 22nd at 11am PT.
Taking place on a narrower map with familiar locations like Tilted Towers and Retail Row, Fortnite Reload is a 40-player squad game that allows you to reboot if you’re eliminated. As long as one of the four-person team remains. It’s similar to the revival of Call of Duty: Warzone.
In Fortnite Reload, the storm moves faster and an entire team wipe means game over.

How it Works
Once removed, you can choose to start a reboot timer instead of waiting for resurrection.
The reboot timer starts at 30 seconds and extends up to 40 seconds once the match ends. The remaining team members can reduce the timer by defeating, eliminating, or annihilating the opposing squad.
When the timer ends, it will reboot. The reboot hangs near the end of the game. This means that eliminated team members can no longer return.
Fortnite Reload Rewards
Fortnite Reload has introductory quests that reward 20,000 XP each. Complete 3 to unlock the Digital Dogfight Contrail, complete 6 to get the Pool Cubes Wrap, and complete 9 to get the NaNa Bath Back Bling! If you purchase Victory Royale, you will receive the Rezzbrella glider.
You can join Fortnite for free on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, Android, and PC. Fortnite is also available on cloud-based streaming services.
Once you’re logged in and Fortnite is running, select the “Fortnite Reload” tile in the search screen. Fortnite Reload is a squad (4 player) environment.
