Former Western Force rugby star Brynard Stander has revealed why he tracked down two teenagers who allegedly stabbed and robbed two men.
The teenagers were later charged with carrying out a stabbing attack in Karrinyup, Western Australia, which left the victims with serious injuries.
Detectives from Mirrabooka charged the 16-year-olds each with aggravated armed robbery and two counts of grievous bodily harm.
The incident occurred around 2:30pm on Sunday, and Stander, who was nearby at the time, explained what motivated him to track down the culprit.

In a statement on Monday, police said they would allege the pair were armed with knives when they went to Northgate Street, Karinew, in a vehicle to meet two 18-year-old men as part of a pre-arranged meeting.
‘It is believed that the two perpetrators threatened the two male victims.
During the altercation, one of the 18-year-old victims suffered a stab wound to the abdomen, while the other 18-year-old suffered cuts to her left wrist and thigh.
‘Both (alleged) victims were taken to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.
The former rugby star was forced into action following the incident at Karrinyup.
‘It is alleged that one of the (alleged) offenders grabbed a bag containing cannabis from the victim’s vehicle and the two offenders then fled down a laneway between Northgate Street and Edmondson Crescent.’
He added that police would claim information obtained from members of the public helped them apprehend the culprits.
The teens are due to appear in the Perth Children’s Court on Monday.
