Even better, Creed said the idea came from co-star Rainn Wilson, who plays Dwight Schrute.
As for how Creed might get involved, he told Rolling Stone in an interview published Friday: “Rainn Wilson said I would have to sit at a desk in the back room with no explanation. They would pass by but I would never tell them what I was doing and my I won’t even mention your name.”

And I’m not actually going to be on the new show,” he told Rolling Stone. “I’m so grateful to have been a part of the original. Every day I wake up and think how lucky I am, but I did it.”
